"Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the LORD IS ONE!
(Posted: October 10, 2009; expanded: 02-20-2010)

Who is really the "One True God?"

Is "The Father" really the "One True God?"

But since the "The Father" is one of the three "Persons in the Trinity," how can He be "The True God in His Oneness?"  that is declared in Dt 6:4 and by Jesus in Mk 12:29: "Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one."?

Also, if the "One True God" is infinite, how could angels, who are finite creations of the Infinite God, always see the face of "The Father"  if indeed "The Father"  is "God in His Oneness?" Jesus in Matt 18:10 declares : "For I tell you that their angels in heaven always see the face of my Father in heaven."

The prophet Isaiah himself, a human being, declared that his eyes had seen the "Lord Almighty" (Isa 6:5): “Woe to me!” I cried. “I am ruined! For I am a man of unclean lips, and I live among a people of unclean lips, and my eyes have seen the King, the Lord Almighty.”

Could it be that "God in His Oneness," by His WILL, desired that angels and men regard one of the Persons of His manifestation in the Trinity as "Father" for functional reasons as PROGENITOR  of His (God in His Oneness) work of creations without "The Father" really being the "One True God in His Oneness?"

If so, then "The Father" is the END of man's search, in mind and spirit, of the "One True God" of the Bible without really being the "God in His Oneness!"

Thus, the greatest and the unfathomable mystery of the Christian Faith is not the TRINITY but "God in His Oneness,"  the ". . . God, the blessed and only Ruler, the King of kings and Lord of lords, 16 who alone is immortal and who lives in unapproachable light, whom no one has seen or can see (1 Ti 6:15-16)" - THE GODHEAD (Rom 1:20, Col 2:8-10)

I have now completed my work on "The Biblical Theology of the One God and the Trinity" but its length is preventing it to be posted here. Let me just say that "God the Father," "God the Son," and "God the Holy Spirit," respectively, are the "defined" or "Personalized" manifestation of the "CREATIVE WILL", the "CREATIVE WORD," and the "CREATIVE POWER" of the ONE INFINITE GOD so as to reveal Himself in and to His creations.

Emanating from the One Infinite God, each one is TRUE GOD having one in essence, one will, one purpose with the Father and are CO-EQUAL but each having a different role in creation and in the the work of the SALVATION of fallen man.
